Pianist, Accompanist and Piano Teacher

Performing

I gave my first public performance at the age of 7 in a music festival and have never looked back.

The thrill of live performance as a soloist, ensemble member or as a listener in the audience is intoxicating. It is after all the way music is meant to be heard.

I perform frequently as a soloist throughout the North West and further afield. Solo recitals have taken place in a wide range of venues; town halls, art galleries, museums, schools, churches, community halls etc. The only real necessity is a good piano, although if your venue doesn't have one then we can arrange for a suitable instrument to be supplied.

The amount of works performed are too numerous to list, but solo repertoire highlights have included Liszt's Piano Sonata in B minor, Rachmaninoff's 2nd Piano sonata and Beethoven's "appasionata" to name a few.

"...recently he excelled in his virtuoso rendition of Rachmaninov's Third Piano Concerto" Marjorie Pennington, Fylde Arts

I am fortunate to have been engaged for concerto performances on a number of occasions, and have, among other works, performed Rachmaninoff's 3rd concerto in D minor and Brahms's 1st concerto with the Blackpool Symphony orchestra in addition to Beethoven's 5th "emperor" concerto with the Fylde Sinfonia. I am always pleased to discuss concerto engagements with ensembles of all sizes, and both amateur and professional orchestras alike.

Invitations are also taken to play for weddings, functions and salon recitals. Nothing provides more class to your evening dinner party than a Chopin waltz!
